Creative Solutions to Foreign Worker Problems

This was written in response to comments I read about the new U.S. method of dealing with companies which hire foreign laborers.  There are two aspects to the article.  In the first, I respond to some rather caloused individuals.  The remainder identifies the real culprit and offers constructive solutions.

To those who responded  with “they broke The Law” and use that as reason to judge and execute these people, bear in mind that we all break “The Law” every day.  These people have far better reason to do so than our desire to get somewhere a very few minutes earlier.  These “illegal” people are WORKING, to SURVIVE  (not sitting on their butts looking for a handout.)  How can there be a higher calling than that?  “Go back to Mexico and survive”?  If it were all that easy (or even possible,) do you really think people would spend their last peso and risk walking scores of miles across a scorching desert to come here for work?  (more…)
